Copenhagen is one of Northern Europe's most charming capital cities and a top cruise destination. Its colourful Nyhavn waterfront, world-class cuisine, cycling culture and royal heritage make it a highlight of any Baltic itinerary.
What to Do in a Day in Copenhagen
Start at Nyhavn for photos of the iconic coloured townhouses. Walk to Amalienborg Palace to see the royal guard, then continue to The Little Mermaid statue. Head to Rosenborg Castle to see the Crown Jewels. Spend the afternoon at Tivoli Gardens amusement park, or explore the free-spirited Christiania neighbourhood. Try a classic Danish smørrebrød for lunch.
The tours below are not organized by the cruise lines. Bookings are made directly with GetYourGuide and you are responsible for getting back to the ship on time. If you prefer the cruise line's guarantee, contact our travel advisors after booking.
